-Just sharing some of the (many) pics I took during our road trip to Vigan, Ilocos Norte. It's a definitely a must-do trip for every Pinoy, where you'll get immersed in our beautifully preserved heritage. The famous Calle Crisologo is a veritable time travel with its centuries-old ancestral houses, Kalesas clip-clopping on the cobblestones... and the food! -Words simply won't suffice.

xtrm1 wrote on Sep 24, '07 Hi Tita Carol, I'm glad to "tour" you around our country, even virtually. Nothing beats being there for real to see everything with your own eyes though. I'm looking forward to your future visit here back home. Mabuhay!
ok night shots natin master..
Ganda lahat!!! definitely a must destination!!! Sana could see them the same way your camera did?!?1!!
xtrm1 wrote on Dec 13, '07 Thanks, Chat... You should really go see Vigan. Haha, the camera added a bit of drama I guess, pero it can't compete with seeing the real thing with your own eyes... especially during the magic hour, when the tungsten street lamps are on and the sound of the horse's hooves are echoing from the cobblestone streets? Ay sus, magkape na tayo! hehehe.
xtrm1 wrote on Dec 13, '07 Thanks bro. Ang sarap talaga doon... you should go there one of these days! -Again, if you already have.

Uy! Sarap na road trip yan! Coolness, ok- several things you'll have to try, like the Puki-puki (haha, it's a famous dish ok?) at the Grandpa's Inn- parang Batchoy na Vigan Style; the famous Empanada made as you order at the town plaza; visit Jaime Go- our National Artist for his pottery- great photo op, especially if you catch him at work (which he'll gamely demo for you); ...sige I'll give you more tips, i-review ko lang yung segment namin on it. Sana you could also pass through Paoay, Pagudpud... nandun na rin lang kasi kayo by then eh. Lots to see, bring LOTS of film.
