The Voluntary Insomniac

Photo Galleries!

It's been a very long time since I've seen a Lancer I actually liked. Several models before this passed for "new" models by way of mere facelifts and lackluster upgrades in features and performance. I'm so glad the all-new Lancer is reborn for real, and is back with a vengeance. DNA from its leaner and meaner big brother Evolution X is very discernible, and it goes beyond the sheet metal. Test driving this baby thoroughly in Subic gave me a taste of its sporty yet comfortable handling, robust power, exceptional list of features and amenities for its sticker price, and of course- kick ass looks! This is not an ad for Mitsubishi... objectively speaking, I want one for myself! :)

Hey Bro- public launch scheduled for the last week of May. That's just about a week from now! Sigh.

Nice, finally, a worthy arsenal from Mitsubishi.

Actually. They started it out by bringing in the new Outlander, Pajero and Endeavor. So after the Lancer is launched this May, there's one more they'll release within the year. I'm guessing it'll be the Galant to join the fray between the Camry and Accord. That should be interesting. :)

no galant yet.. in japan, the new lancer is actually the Galant Fortis.

coming next is the new evo x na.. :)

Ahh. I've seen a couple of greys just basking under the sun day in and day out (I don't think they realize that could turn some buyers off) at Gilmore, but it'd be great if they do release the EvoX officially locally. Sigh.
