If you don't drink coffee, you probably won't understand. I was determined to get my overdue script all finished and sent before sunrise, until I decided I needed a cup of coffee. Big mistake. Bought a bag of Starbucks coffee yesterday (this is not an ad for them by the way) and brewed me some. Filled the mug, took a long sip, then BANG. It was one of the best I've tried, probably because of the right amount of cream I put, and the beans probably worked well with the brown sugar, but damn... one heck of a good cup!
Things went downhill from there. The sentimental sap I was, -I had to minimize my (frowning) word file, and pointed my browser to my online Rome galleries from a trip I took last year which I was very fortunate to be sent to by a sponsor, and being a shutterbug, I must've wet my pants with every beautiful scenery I snapped. I even cued-up some Cello music (!) just to view the pics while savoring that perfect coffee moment.
So there, keeping dangerously good coffee is bound to bog you down with your deadline one of these days. Exercise caution, and tons of self control...don't even think of reclining and putting your legs on top of your desk. Oh well, at least the caffeine kick will keep you up while you cram to meet the deadline... which I should be doing now. Oh Sh_t. (sip, ahhh.)
